Jesus,

I am hurting. I am weak. But you are strong. You are healer. My troubles and workload overshadow everything in my path. I feel as if I can’t concentrate on anything I do. I can’t see You. I can’t hear You. Are you there? Please answer. I’m so tired, Lord. Please help me overcome my fears and trials. Lord, forgive me for not putting more emphasis on You in my life. Forgive me for seeking progress rather than focusing on my character and identity in You. Forgive me for all my lustful and selfish actions and thoughts. Forgive me for failing you. Lord, You said in Isaiah 40:31 that even though we fall, You can lift us up and give us strength. You said in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us. Right now, I ask You to fulfill your word. Forgive all of my sinful actions that have failed to bring glory to You. Forgive me for not treating my body as Your temple.

Holy Spirit, so many things are going on in my life right now. I’m overwhelmed, I’m burned out and I’m not sure how much farther I can go. I feel like I’m in a fog and cannot see. I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders. I’ve been crying to you, but have heard no answer. My life is filled with turmoil, Jesus. Right now, I ask You to heal my body, mind and heart. Help me to forgive those I need to forgive and reveal them to me so I may honor You. Help me glorify You in every action I make. I pray that Your words would be on my lips and mind at all times so I may not be lead into temptation. So deliver me Father. Deliver me from my selfish and fearful ways. Help me to share the good things with those around me. Help me realize that Your joy gives me strength. Help me to grieve with those who need to grieve. Help me show you joy where there is none. Help me to be patient and composed during this time when I feel so alone and overwhelmed.

I am weak, but You are strong. Lift me up Father and help me persevere so that I may bring glory and honor to Your name.

Lord, I complain about a lot. But thank you. Thank You for all of the small things you do for me every day that I fail to notice. Thank You for loving despite my sinful and rebellious ways. Thank You for being a gracious and compassionate God.
