So here I am! Scared out of my mind but confident that God has called me to be a voice for missionaries. Empowering Missions is Phase 1 of Empowering Hope, which is a ministry that Lauren and I are starting to bridge the gap between Missions, Ministries, and Churches.

Here’s The Short Story:

1. I’ve been asked by two missionary organizations to film promotional videos for missionaries. I’ll be partnering directly with the Foundation for Missions.

2. I will also be shooting documentaries and telling the stories of some of the missionaries I will be working with. The goal is to sell these documentaries as part of the fundraising process and share the incredible stories of missionaries that we very rarely see.

3. Yes…I will be raising my support. It’s a scary place to be with all of my student debt. But God is bigger than my debt. I will still be looking for other avenues of income with the Israel Experience 360˚, Mareh Productions, and other contract jobs. All donations are tax-deductible!

How You Can Help:

Prayer. This may be one of the craziest things I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone to do…yes, crazier than Israel! If you can be a prayer partner, please let me know you’re praying. You are so important and I want to make sure you feel a part of what God is doing. You will definitely be credited in the videos!

Financial Support. There is a never-ending list of things I would rather do than ask for money. The first three are: 1. Fight Muhammad Ali in his prime 2. Be stuck in a pit full of snakes and 3. Go to the dentist. But this isn’t about me. It’s about God and it’s about those missionaries. Yes, I will be asking for money, but if you can’t give, it’s okay! I love you regardless.

Networking. I only know so many people. I want to meet with Churches, business owners, and more. Maybe you can’t help in other ways, but you know people who might be interested. I need all the help I can get. And trust me, if you help me network, you’ll get credit for that. I will always give credit where it is due. This isn’t about me, it’s about Jesus and what He is doing.

Miscellaneous. Taking on a job like this requires more than just one element. I’m looking for help with other things like music for the videos I make, graphic artists, and people skilled in After Effects. Those things can get expensive! I’d much rather bring on a team member who’s willing to do this and promote them, rather than buy royalty free stuff from people I don’t know.
